By educating your customer you are providing value for your customer which often encourages them to keep coming back to your website or store. Fried advocates giving away as much information as you can about your craft or industry so that you can build an audience that keeps coming back to you, and are likely to seek you out when they have a need for your product or service. Fried was able to drive 800,000 visits to a page of his site at a much lower cost than buying advertising.
